This will be my documentation of the journey to understanding how to commutate brushless motors. If I get anything wrong please fee free to contact me, so I can correct any mistakes. The point of these posts will be how to design the drive, not how to design the motor. There will be a larger focus on the control theory of the drive versus the electronics. That being said I will have still lots of electronic design involved in this series of blogs.
